Quezon City Biennial

Quezon City Biennial

The Quezon City Biennial (QCB) is an artist-run, city-wide exhibition and arts festival  celebrating the spirit of QC as a uniting force for people, art, and ideas.

For two months, August 8 - October 10, 2025, Quezon City becomes an open, living gallery featuring Filipino artistry and creative conscientiousness.

ILALIM/IBABAW

Inspired by the endeared bus route along EDSA, Metro Manila’s major artery, QCB’s thematic framework ILALIM/IBABAW (translated as “BELOW/ABOVE”) represents two opposite yet interconnected layers of urban experience.

Whether passing “above” or “below”, each commute symbolizes the passage of people, ideas, and culture navigating through the overlapping traffic of Quezon City’s diverse social and cultural spaces.
