Talk by Poeleen Alvarez
The talk explores the artist’s ongoing project which examines how words, names, and places are monumentalised in the public’s collective memory via jeepney routes, and textual jeepney art.
Poeleen Alvarez is a visual artist based in Bulacan whose collage and intermedia works draw inspiration from the visual culture of popular media, art history, and the Filipino baroque aesthetic. Trained in printmaking, ceramics, and digital arts, she holds BFA degrees in painting and art history from the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
Talk and activities by Mga Sulat sa Dingding
Mga Sulat sa Dingding is a researcher, street archivist, and phone camera photographer. Her talk is centred on the notion that “graffiti will always be closer to crime than to art” and focuses on “art, creation, and judgment sa labas ng mga pormal na institusyon.” Activities include a talk, mini scavenger hunt, and focused observation combined with photography.

Carl Lorenz Cervantes (writing as Sikodiwa) is a psychospiritual researcher, college lecturer, and author whose work explores Filipino consciousness, folklore, and indigenous psychology. His writings and public lectures offer decolonizing perspectives on well‑being, spirituality, and cultural identity rooted in ancestral Filipino wisdom and collective consciousness.

Walang Kikilos is an art collective composed of Rico Entico, Jayvee del Rosario, Neo Maestro, Paul Mondok, MM Yu, and Poklong Anading—known for multimedia and street-based works that reflect the stress and paralysis of Metro Manila traffic.
